The jury considered his report <i>\u0091Are you nomophobic?\u0092 (\u00bfEres nomof\u00f3bico?\u0092) <\/i>to be the best piece from 136 entries submitted to the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The awards ceremony was held yesterday, 21 November, an event that took place in the Moritz Factory in Barcelona, and professionals from the journalism, communications and telecommunications sectors attended.<\/p>\n<p>A Prize of \u00801,000 for the winner, and a commemorative diploma for the other 9 finalists, were awarded to professionals that, in the judgement of the jury, have stood out in the dissemination of journalistic works about issues related to the field of telecommunications from a global perspective, innovation applied to telecommunications, and cloud computing and its different uses.<\/p>\n<p>The 9 finalists to receive a commemorative diploma were: Elena Arrieta from <i>Expansi\u00f3n<\/i>; Miguel \u00c1ngel Uriondo from <i>Actualidad Econ\u00f3mica<\/i>; Jos\u00e9 Luis de Vicente from<i> ElDiario.es<\/i>; Mario Jim\u00e9nez from <i>Personal Computer &amp; Internet<\/i>; Xavier Jim\u00e9nez from <i>El Peri\u00f3dico de Catalunya<\/i>; Raquel Pico from <i>Zmart.Co<\/i>; El\u00edas Notario from <i>ElDiario.es<\/i>; Franc Carreras and Xavier Vidal from the program <i>La Twitertulia<\/i> on <i>Onda Cero<\/i>; and Marta Peirano from <i>ElDiario.es<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>The jury was made up of acclaimed professionals from the world of business, telecommunications and journalism: Joan Sol\u00e9, Dean of the Official College of Telecommunications Engineers of Catalonia; Crist\u00f3bal Escoda, Director and Founder of NAE Consulting; Jos\u00e9 Luis D\u00edaz Prieto, Director of Audio-visual Marketing and Sales of the International Book Club; Carme Jan\u00e9, an expert technology journalist from the <i>El Peri\u00f3dico de\u00a0<\/i><i>Catalunya<\/i> newspaper; and Xavier Blasco, Masvoz CFO.<\/p>\n<p>To make their final decision, the jury members considered factors such as the quality of the information, the reliability and the range of the sources used, the originality of the piece\u0092s focus, the level of social interest, and the difficulty of preparing the piece. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The El Economista journalist wins recognition for his report \u0091Are you nomophobic?\u0092 (\u00bfEres nomof\u00f3bico?\u0092)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[2141],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-30915","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
