Among the trends of this study, it emphasizes the enterprise mobility.<\/p>\n

Through consultation with more than a hundred analysts, leaders and executives from companies across the industry, \u201cIndustry Insight 2017\u201d<\/a> provides a global view of key technology trends in a world that is becoming increasingly more interconnected: business mobility<\/strong>, the Internet of Things (IoT), the use of the cloud<\/strong>, mobile security, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and automatic learning, and so on.<\/p>\n

Enterprise mobility: here and now<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Enterprise mobility<\/a><\/strong> is one of the fastest growing trends, as this report states, and goes well beyond the mere presence of internal applications of the company in the mobile of the worker.<\/p>\n

According to the data revealed, although companies have been looking for decades to increase efficiency through mobility<\/strong>, the advances made during the last years eclipse all of the above. And this is mainly due to the proliferation of mobile devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets…). So much so that now \u201cis the time to focus solely on mobiles.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while it is true that there are a large percentage of laggards, enterprise mobility<\/strong> is a key pillar of digital transformation<\/strong>. In fact, 61% of respondents admit that mobility continues to be an increasing priority, and for 27%, it is already an absolute priority in their organization.<\/p>\n

The rapid rise to the cloud<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Not so long ago the idea of storing private or corporate information in a third-party’s data center was considered, at best, an extravagant idea. However, at present, it forms the basis of many of the new digital companies.<\/p>\n

So much so, according to the Enterprise Mobility Exchange survey, the cloud is the first choice for 46% of IT executives<\/strong> when asked to indicate their top three-business technology needs by 2017.<\/p>\n

Augmented reality and artificial intelligence<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Another of the fastest-growing trends noted by this report is augmented reality, which is being adopted faster than virtual reality and is improving the productivity of workers equipped with mobile devices. What is the basic reason for this growth?<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cAugmented reality moves faster than virtual reality, especially in business, because it does not need additional hardware like headphones and stuff,\u201d says Je Wallace, founder and president of Global Kinetics.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
