In a context in which 68.8% of companies have already implemented, are developing or have begun to define a mobility strategy resulting from a strategic decision that affects the entire company in 46% of cases, the concept of the ultramobility is born.<\/p>\n

The ultramobility<\/strong> is a solution designed to provide digital workers with a workspace adapted to their new needs<\/strong> and to face many of the challenges that companies face in order to achieve success in digital transformation.<\/p>\n

Companies are moving towards this concept in which each employee has a mobile device as the only element of the workstation to operate with it autonomously in mobility, or project on a screen and keyboard as a fixed position, making use of a virtual desktop.<\/p>\n

According to the data of the report \u201cTrends of Ultramobility in Spain\u201d, carried out by IDC Research Spain, the number of companies that see mobility as an integral part of their ICT strategies increases progressively and this is reflected in the increase in work forces mobile phones, which in 2016 already amounted to 8.7 million workers.<\/p>\n

The ultramobility, a new trend of teleworking in companies<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The three keys of ultramobility<\/strong> are: the new digital workplace<\/strong>, mobility<\/strong><\/a> and virtualization<\/strong>. According to the consultancy, companies need to adapt to the new economic environment, agile and changing, as well as the new needs of digital workers.<\/p>\n

At this point, the report<\/a> indicates that the employee today needs to be able to work from anywhere (72.3%), access information at any time (60.9%) and all in a secure environment (47.5%)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The document also argues that mobility solutions achieve greater maturity when they join workplace virtualization initiatives, which simplify management and facilitate security<\/strong> in an isolated environment. 60.8% of the surveyed companies have already implemented, are developing or have begun to define a virtualization strategy.<\/p>\n

IDC Research Spain also highlights that security is the main challenge of both mobility and virtualization of the workplace in the event of possible loss or theft of sensitive data, virus infection or unauthorized access to data.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
