Digital transformation is an imperative among today’s businesses, and the cloud plays a key-enabling role. With the first strategies in the cloud becoming the new norm, technology has become the accelerator of transformation. The adoption of the cloud is increasing as companies seek to achieve their goals of building faster and operate better at lower costs. So much so that, according to a 451 Research report, 60% of companies will move to the cloud in 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this way, most organizations will carry out IT operations off-site by the end of 2019, mainly through the cloud infrastructure and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SaaS, the most widely used cloud model<\/strong><\/h5>\n

This coincides with the recent growth in the cloud market: cloud services grew by almost 29% in the first half of 2017<\/strong>, with revenues of 63,200 million distributed in SaaS, Platform as Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as Service (IaaS). SaaS represented 69% of the total share in the cloud market<\/strong> and can potentially help IT departments reduce costs.<\/p>\n

The companies say that the biggest increase in spending this year will be for IT delivered as a service, rather than in the facilities, according to the 451 Research report<\/a>. Security will also receive a larger amount of money, with 16% of organizations saying it will be the largest budget increase in 2018.<\/p>\n

According to this report, the main IT initiatives for 2018<\/strong> are focused on the following data:<\/p>\n

1.- Business intelligence (45%).<\/p>\n

2.- Automatic learning and artificial intelligence (29%).<\/p>\n

3.- Big Data (28%).<\/p>\n

The cloud, key in the strategy of the companies<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The results of the 451 Research report demonstrated the importance of the cloud in the business strategy<\/strong> due to its agility, reliability, scalability and flexibility.<\/p>\n

When selecting a provider of cloud communication services for companies<\/a><\/strong>, organizations value factors such as guaranteeing data security<\/strong>, reducing costs thanks to pay-per-use<\/strong> services, or integration<\/strong> with other solutions technologies already implemented in the company.<\/p>\n
