A total of 120 works are in the running for the Masvoz Journalism and Telecommunications Prize, organised by Masvoz with the aim of rewarding the work of journalists endeavouring to enhance societys knowledge of progress in modern technology.
The prize, in its second edition this year, includes journalistic works submitted in different formats: articles, news, reports and interviews published in printed media, audio-visual media and electronic form in Spain.
To name the winners, the jury made up of representatives from the telecommunications, business and journalism sectors will consider factors such as the quality of the information, the reliability and the range of sources used, the originality of the pieces focus, the level of social interest, and the difficulty of preparing the news item.
The prize of 1,000 for the winner will be awarded during an event held in Barcelona on October 30. The finalists and the winner of this 2nd edition of the Masvoz Journalism and Telecommunications Prize will be in attendance, along with journalists, members of the business sector and Masvoz management.
