According to a new IDC report, wearables world market will keep growing with the gradual entry of new devices, satisfying current customers needs. While 80 million of units were supplied in 2015, it is expected to sell 111.1 million wearables in 2016, which means an increase of 44% from the previous year, and an average growth of 28% until 2019. At this moment, 214,6 million units will be  commercialized. This figure is very similar to the already predicted by Grand View Research in its analysis “Global Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Analysis of market size and Segment Forecasts for 2020“, which foresaw that BYOD business will exceed 225,000 million units in 2020. One of the most demanded wearables is the smartwatch, which sales were 21.3 million units in 2015, and will reach 34.3 million in 2016 and 88.3 million in 2019. That means, it is predicted that smartwatch sales raise at an average rate of 42.8% over the next five years. We have already seen the fast-paced evolution of smartwatches in personal computers. Therefore, it is expected that the future smartwatch will not resemble to the one we know today, which will have mobile connection, health sensors and its value will increase due to third-party applications. In fact, as stated in a report by Gartner, 30% of smart wearables will be completely invisible to the human eye by 2017. Despite the high demand of smartwatches, just as Jitesh Ubrani said, a mobile devices analyst at IDC, the most sold devices will be clothes or smart glasses and hearing devices in 2019. Two highlighted examples are Smart Suit introduced in the CES last edition and the SmartGlass introduced at Wearable Expo 2016. Masvoz BYOD solutions In a moment when companies are raising awareness of the importance of mobility, wearable and BYOD policies are also becoming a key element in organizations. In this area, Masvoz pioneered the commercialization of BYOD solutions in Spain introducing BizPhone application, which enables its employees to make business calls from their own personal smartphone, while the costs are assumed by the company.
