60% of Companies Will Move to the Cloud in 2019

This coincides with the recent growth in the cloud market: cloud services grew by almost 29% in the first half of 2017, with revenues of 63,200 million distributed in SaaS, Platform as Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as Service (IaaS). SaaS represented 69% of the total share in the cloud market and can potentially help IT departments reduce costs.

The companies say that the biggest increase in spending this year will be for IT delivered as a service, rather than in the facilities, according to the 451 Research report. Security will also receive a larger amount of money, with 16% of organizations saying it will be the largest budget increase in 2018.

According to this report, the main IT initiatives for 2018 are focused on the following data:

2.- Automatic learning and artificial intelligence (29%).

3.- Big Data (28%).
