With new innovations and advancements within technology, it’s hard for these evolving developments not to shape the way businesses operate.

As more and more solutions are available on the market, organizations have become more efficient with the way they work, improving productivity and flexibility in the workplace.

A Mobile PBX system is one of the many cloud solutions that can improve the efficiency of a business, offering excellent communication services, in which mobile phones are an extension of the company. In addition, they can be combined with PBX-type and fixed extensions.

What Is the Mobile PBX?

A Mobile PBX is a private telephone network that is used within companies and that also incorporates mobile devices, allowing employees to communicate internally and externally. This is achieved by combining hosted telephony solutions with GSM mobile networks and is delivered in one of two ways: OTT (over the top) via a mobile app or natively via embedded SIM cards.

The Mobile PBX allows users to benefit from all the telephony functions that a company would expect in its telephone system, but on a mobile device. These features include call transfer/hold, call recording, unified voicemail, call queue, and IVR/auto attendant.

How Does a Mobile PBX Work?

It works by integrating hosted telephony solutions with GSM mobile networks and allows users to access telephony with a wide variety of functions but with the flexibility of a mobile device.

Calls initiated from a Mobile PBX solution are tagged and routed to the hosted telephony platform once they reach the GSM network. This means that calls made from mobile devices can be managed, allowing outgoing CLI presentation to be changed, and are classified as “on the network”, making it easy to dial extensions between users at no associated cost. Calls to mobile numbers can also be routed just like landline numbers since they all reside on the same platform.

Why Is the Mobile PBX Useful?

It offers access to a complete business telephony solution that improves communication throughout the company, with the added benefit of being able to work from anywhere. As businesses are adopting a more flexible approach to working, it’s critical to be able to take advantage of the same from your technology. It allows users to work confidently from any geographic location without worrying about missing important calls.

From a business perspective, the combination of office and mobile services not only offers cost savings, but also allows the recording and reporting of all calls made from the mobile. This is important for business owners, as it will help from a company policy compliance standpoint as all conversations are captured.

What Are Its Benefits?

  • Mobility.
  • Economic.
  • Easy to use.
  • Scalability.
  • What Companies Is the Mobile PBX Aimed At?
  • Companies with salespeople or staff on the move: companies with salespeople or staff on the move, such as real estate, transportation, and law, among others, make the most of the Mobile PBX and it represents great savings because it allows calls between mobile phones and the office at no cost, transfer calls and make calls to 3.
  • Offices with a warehouse: in offices with a warehouse it is very common that you have to move to the warehouse, or that managers need to use an extension in mobility. With the Mobile PBX from the office they can go down to the warehouse with the mobile extension without interrupting conversations and managers can always be located.
  • Companies with poor Internet connection: in some industrial estates and towns there is still no fiber connection and companies are limited in telephony. With the Mobile PBX they can have a professional system that allows them to manage several calls simultaneously and without depending on the Internet connection.
  • Businesses looking for convenience and flexibility: whether for simplicity, savings, or to increase usability, many businesses prefer to use mobile phones over landline extensions because they require no configuration, can carry their extension in their pocket, and move around while they talk.

With the Enreach Mobile PBX you only need smartphones and nothing else. We will send you the SIM cards and you will only have to insert them into the mobiles. We take care of the rest: we configure the switchboard easily and quickly.
